We put our company site on TRACS as soon as we could. All we had to do was create a database called Portfolio and add fields for the site name, url, description, and screenshot. National Bipolar Foundation
The foundation was under a time crunch and needed a solid, secure, easy to use donation acceptance and management system. TRACS made that very easy. We set up a database called Donations where we tracked the donators' billing, shipping, and donation amount.
With TRACS built in Authorize.net support and an easy to use shared shopping cart system, it was a breeze to accept donations. We worked on Standers' original site (back in 2002), and when it came time for a site upgrade, they approached us with some ideas.
They wanted to allow testimonial submissions, accept resumes, and post videos, coupons, news articles, job openings, and community efforts.
Then they asked, "Can we give people the ability to check the status of the work on their cars on big jobs?" They wanted customers to view the status of their cars, see pictures, and submit feedback.
Then, they hit us with the big one: "How can we do this affordably?"

Really, can you blame us? The TRACS system it powerful... powerful enough to run itself. Everything on this site is run from our TRACS account. We created databases called "Webpages", "Guided Tour", "Powered By TRACS", and more. Then, using our remote API, we connect to ourselves to pull all the info we need.
Even the forms on our site were done using the TRACS built in form wizard.
But wouldn't using your remote API to connect to yourself be unnecessary and slow? Nah, the API is just as easy as connecting to MySQL, using TRACS eliminates the need for a backend, and with a slick caching system, calls are only made when needed.

This site was a handful. Just browse around on it and you'll see lots of content, videos, articles, event calendars, event registrations, testimonials, affiliate tracking, and member signup.
Once you become a member, you access even more articles, a community blog, teleconference recordings, more videos, recorded webinars, and more.
This site, from scratch, took 4 days. It is 100% TRACS-driven, which of course eliminated the need for a backend. This allowed us to focus on getting things to look exactly how the client wanted.
